Tim's Garage is an auto repair shop in Waukesha, Wisconsin. It is listed at 1800 W St Paul Ave, Waukesha, WI 53188, which places it among the local businesses of Waukesha that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In Waukesha, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Wisconsin vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. Typical hours are 8 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Tim's Garage at (262) 309-6020; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, beacons.ai.

Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 88 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded auto repair shops in Waukesha.

Waukesha is in Wisconsin, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Waukesha follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

After stopping at four different auto stops that didn’t offer the emissions, I was directed to come to Tim’s garage where I was accepted with open arms and prompt service. Highly recommend!

Called a few times, no answer (during business hours). Left a couple messages, no call backs. Been a week. Will probably look elsewhere. Maybe they are good, maybe not. No way to know.

Tim has worked on my car multiple times and it has always been a good experience. I would not going anywhere else and i recommend him over and over again to anyone looking to get work done. Excited to see the new shop all set up.

Tim’s garage is one of the best shops out there that I know of today I spent some time at his shop working on my car with his aid because I’m interested in learning more about vehicles and during my time there I didn’t just see a normal mechanic who wants to up sell you on stuff you don’t really need nor did I see him be dishonest with anybody. Everyone I saw come into the shop came in with a smile and left with an even bigger one. Although he has quite the workload on him he still manages to find time to help and cater to everybody’s needs and be as helpful as he possibly can be. I would recommend Tim’s shop to anyone who asks me who to get their vehicles worked on and serviced correctly

Outstanding service at Tim’s Garage! I found them through the Wisconsin DOT site for emissions testing. Tim answered the phone immediately, and when I arrived 20 minutes later, he performed the test right away. My car failed due to a check engine light (my fault for not realizing it would affect the test), but Tim was incredibly professional and patient. He clearly explained what I needed to do to fix the issue before retesting. Even though I wasn’t a regular customer and I feel that I had wasted his time, he treated me with kindness and professionalism. If he provides this level of service to walk-ins, his regular customers must be very well taken care of. Highly recommend!
